Once the living quarters of Green Gables Inn's Proprietor, this well-appointed home is our newest offering called the 'Proprietor's Suite.' This charming 1929 farmhouse continues to be the signature structure of the property, one that you can now experience yourself.
A Marquee Landmark
The original farmhouse, built in 1929, has been a central marquee and home of the Green Gables Inn Proprietor since the 80's when the hotel was built around the house. Lovingly restored and decorated to reflect many great cultural qualities of the region, it provides a number of amenities within the space that are intentionally placed for comfort and convenience.
Extensive Accommodations
The Proprietor's Suite is just perfect for a romantic couple's getaway, or simply gathering with other family members staying on the property. The ultra-private master bedroom features a classic wooden sleigh bed with pillow top queen mattress, wonderfully restored hardwood floors, plenty of built-in cabinetry, a sizable walk-in closet, custom-built vanity, and private ensuite commode with adjoining shower.
Full Kitchen Conveniences
The Proprietor's Suite comes with a full kitchen that features a double sink with filtered water spigot, a full set of kitchen appliances, including dishwasher, refrigerator-freezer, electric oven with stovetop and overhead exhaust hood, small appliances include a single-cup coffee maker, assortment of single serve coffees, microwave, and toaster. The kitchen is furnished with everything you need to cook and serve, or simply bring in to serve and enjoy. The kitchen area also features a breakfast nook with hightop, island seating, and pocket bathroom for convenience.
Dining Elegance
Just off the extensive kitchen area is the dining room that seats four or more around a beautiful inlaid wooden dining table. This open dining area is right off of the main floor entry where you will also find the adjoining living area with overstuffed kickback sofa for two, reading lamps, coffee table, and lazy chair.
Modern Comfort
Green Gables Inn's historic Proprietor's Living area is set up with overstuffed sofa recliners and swivel chair maximum comfort. Plug in to USB ports built in so you can relax, recharge, and kick back with a book, play cards or a board game on the coffee table.

The Proprietor's Suite offers ultra privacy while maximizing convenience and comfort. Plan to stay a couple of days or more in this relaxing environment where you can enjoy the suite and the magnificent grounds and natural surroundings as you rest or recover from all there is to do and see around the area.
